It started with a simple idea: business does not always have to be so serious.
Comedy Summit Global was created to challenge the traditional corporate conference. We wanted an event where serious workplace challenges could be explored through meaningful conversation, fresh perspectives, genuine humour and human connection.
In August 2026 that vision came to life in Auckland, New Zealand. In partnership with Auckland University of Technology (AUT), we launched Comedy Summit Global 2026. Every available ticket was taken.
What made it rewarding was the response. Attendees told us the day was fun, engaging and valuable, and different from a traditional conference. It confirmed what we believed from the start: professional development, important business conversations and genuine enjoyment can belong in the same room.
Now we are taking the next step. Building on Auckland, Sydney 2027 has a stronger focus on the corporate community, with approximately 400 professionals from across the city's business community for a day that challenges conventional thinking about work, leadership and the role of humour.

Our inaugural Comedy Summit Global in Auckland, held in partnership with Auckland University of Technology, brought together people from different backgrounds to explore leadership, workplace culture and the power of humour. The event sold out, but what meant the most to us was hearing how much attendees valued the experience.
I went in expecting comedy, but came away thinking much more about people and the workplace.
A day full of different perspectives, thoughtful conversations and, of course, plenty of laughter.
An inspiring and enjoyable experience that reminded me that leadership is not always about being serious.
A fun day filled with valuable lessons that I'll carry forward in both my personal and professional journey.
It was an incredibly informative day witnessing presentations from business leaders, organisational psychologists, motivational speakers, and comedians.
I'd recommend this event to other students seeking real-world insight, and any working professional interested in improving their understanding of corporate communication.
Comedy Summit Global is not your typical corporate conference. And it is not simply a comedy show.
It is where business, leadership, workplace culture and professional comedy meet. Through keynotes, expert discussions, interactive experiences and live comedy, the summit explores how humour and human connection can positively influence workplace performance.
Some of the most important skills at work are the most human: connecting, communicating, collaborating, thinking creatively and building relationships. Sometimes the best way to approach a serious challenge is to look at it differently.
Better connections. Better teams. Better workplaces.
Organisations face growing pressure around wellbeing, communication, engagement, performance and talent retention. People want more than a place to work. They want to feel connected, motivated, supported and valued. These are the conversations on the day.
How humour, authenticity and stronger communication help leaders connect with their teams.
The role of laughter, connection and psychological safety in healthier workplaces.
Creating workplaces where people feel motivated, included and genuinely connected.
How humour and unconventional thinking encourage new ideas, adaptability and problem-solving.
Building trust and working across different personalities and generations.
The human skills and workplace experiences that will keep mattering as organisations evolve.
Comedy Summit Global 2027 is designed for the corporate community. Whether you lead a business, manage a team, shape culture or work in a corporate environment, this day is for you.
A fresh approach to professional development, communication, workplace relationships and wellbeing.
New perspectives on leadership, organisational culture and building high-performing teams.
Ideas for employee engagement, wellbeing, workplace culture and retention.
Ways to strengthen connections, communicate more effectively and create positive team environments.
How engaging, unconventional experiences can support meaningful professional development.
Inspiration for building workplaces where people and businesses thrive.
Give your employees a professional development experience that is both meaningful and enjoyable. We welcome interest from organisations looking to attend as a team, engage their people, or build the summit into wider people and culture initiatives.
Experienced professionals, industry experts, business leaders and comedians, together for a full day of perspective, insight and laughter.
Speakers with real-world experience in leadership, business, culture, communication and organisational performance.
Humour as more than entertainment, with comedians bringing fresh perspectives to the realities of working life.
Today's workplace challenges explored between business experts and creative professionals.
Activities that encourage connection, collaboration, creativity and new ways of thinking.
Meet professionals, leaders and organisations from across Sydney's corporate community.
Leave with fresh ideas, valuable connections and perspectives you can take straight back to your workplace.
The 2027 programme and speaker lineup will be announced soon.
